This is the home of the Amateur Catholic® bloggers - or as we like to refer to ourselves, the B-team. We don't write books or do speaking tours. In fact, we barely do our jobs. That's not to say we're unambitious though... You see, this coalition is just the second phase our blogoshpere conquest. We suppose you could think of us as amateur crusaders too.

Membership will not bring you any money, perks, notoriety, or prestige - but you will get the privilege of proudly displaying the B-team badge on your blog! Lucky you, huh?

We like to hear ourselves talk just as much as the Professional Catholics® do, we just don't charge you for it. But hey give us a meal, free beer, and a designated driver, and we'll speak about breaking the Da Vinci Code or anything else you might care to hear about.

Toby Donna: Amateur Catholic

Hello Old Friends,

I am dropping a line to let you know I have relaunched my blog on issues of faith, culture, politics, and any odd thing I find interesting at http://tobiasdanna.blogspot.com/

If you have the chance to drop by, I have posts up on the election and the controversy over how Catholics ought to vote, whether friendships can survive ideological disputes, Bobby Jindal as the right wing Obama, Peanuts creator Charles Schulz' great regret for Charlie Brown, the atheist attacks on Harry Potter, and some great classic country music footage. I promise next week will have some thorough election coverage and an evaluation on the state of the pro-life movement. If you want to keep up with me and what's caught my eye, peeking at the blog is dead giveaway. And the comboxes are all open for debate.
